Your New Fav Meal Prep: Loaded Chicken Burgers

INGREDIENTS

Brands I used are listed!

  • 1 lb organic ground chicken

  • 1 @vitalfarms egg

  • 1/4C @bobsredmill almond flour

  • 1/2 red onion

  • 1 red bell pepper

  • 1C @organicgirl power greens, chopped

  • 1 Tbs garlic

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • Optional: additional onion and garlic powder for extra flavaaaa

  • Avocado oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. Chop up onion, red bell pepper and garlic. Sautee over medium heat with oil (I used @chosenfoods avocado oil) for 6-8 mins, stirring occasionally. Add in spinach at the end and cook until wilted.

  2. Remove veggies and place in fridge or freezer to cool down for 10 mins.

  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  4. Add cooled veggies to bowl, mix in almond flour, chicken, egg and seasonings.

  5. Form into patties and set onto oil sprayed baking sheet.

  6. Bake 15 mins, flip, bake 15 mins. Add cheese on top then bake 2-3 more minutes to melt. Enjoy!
