The Only Turkey Meat Ball Recipe You Need.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb organic ground turkey breast @wholefoods
1/2 cup organic plain or herb bread crumbs @sprouts
1 egg @vitalfarms
1/3 cup white onion, minced
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1-2 tsp dried or fresh basil
1/2 tsp oregano
Salt and pepper
Optional: 1/2 cup chopped spinach, crushed red pepper or shredded mozzarella
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Mince the garlic and onion and add all ingredients to a bowl. Mix well using spatula or hands.
Cover baking sheet with foil and spray with olive or avocado oil.
Using ice cream scooper or hands, mold mixture into meat balls and add to the sheet. Spray lightly with oil on top again.
Bake for 15-20 mins, until golden brown.
